Introducing Osprey Soar: Discovering Hidden Talent

We are thrilled to announce the launch of Osprey Soar, an initiative focused on identifying and supporting extraordinary female talent across sports and entertainment. Our mission here is to discover exceptionally gifted individuals who might not meet the typical membership eligibility criteria yet, but are on a trajectory to excel in their respective fields. Referred by existing members, coaches, and consultants. Every quarter our team will meticulously evaluate and handpick potential members whom we believe will bring about lasting change in their industries.

Our first recipient: Malak Bouraeda ā€” A golfer of American Moroccan descent.

But hereā€™s why you may not know herā€¦ YET.

Sheā€™s not on the LPGAā€¦YET.

She hasnā€™t won a US openā€¦YET.

She hasnā€™t landed a title sponsorā€¦YET.

But what she does have, is the unwavering commitment and talent to do all of the above

The Path to Greatness

In any athlete's career, there comes pivotal momentsā€”crossroadsā€”where decisions made can define their legacy. Malak encountered such a moment, and it was unimaginably difficult. Yet, she exhibited remarkable resilience and transformed the most challenging period of her life into a lifelong mission.

At the tender age of six, Malak's mother suffered a stroke linked to Crohn's disease, leaving her half paralyzed and unable to participate in family golf outings. Despite the adversity, Malak persevered. However, four years later, she faced another heartbreak when doctors informed her that her mother's life expectancy was ten years. Tragically, just days later, she passed away.

Rising Above Adversity

In the face of such heartache, Malak's achievements since are truly awe-inspiring:

  • Secured a full scholarship to the University of Colorado Boulder and player in #1 position for 4 years.

  • Competed at the prestigious US Womenā€™s Open while still pursuing her college education. She was the FIRST Arab golfer to ever to play in a major in the United States.

  • Won the Coupe Du Drone in Morocco last month.

  • Became a valued member of the Moroccan Team, representing her country on an international stage.

  • Successfully earned a master's degree in Leadership, showcasing her commitment to both education and her sport.

  • Representing Morocco in the World Team amateur Championship in Abu Dhabi this fall.

The Source of Her Strength

Winston Churchill once said, "It is in your darkest hour that you need the most strength." In Malak's case, the foundation of her strength remains a mystery. Malak went on to face an injury herself and is back on the path to greatness. One thing is certainā€”our community stands firmly behind her. We pledge unwavering support for her journey ahead, eager to witness the unfolding of her remarkable fortitude.

As we embark on this exciting endeavor with Osprey Soar, we invite you all to join us in celebrating these hidden gems of talent and embracing their potential to transform the world of sports and entertainment. Together, let's unlock greatness and ignite a future filled with limitless possibilities.
