Morgan's determination propelled her back into the pool, where she not only clinched numerous medals but also shattered a world record. Even amidst frequent hospital visits, Morgan's dedication to her training never wavers. As she prepares for this year's trials, she serves as a beacon of inspiration to people worldwide. Despite encountering numerous hurdles along her journey, Judith remains steadfast in her commitment to empowering African women. We're thrilled to welcome Rachel to our executive circle, introduced to us by one of our esteemed founding members. With over eight years of dedicated service at the NHL, Rachel has been instrumental in driving impactful initiatives. Her latest endeavor, a groundbreaking partnership with ASL, introduces a parallel streaming experience tailored for the Deaf community during the Stanley Cup Final. “NEW YORK (June 5, 2024) – The National Hockey League (NHL) and P-X-P announced in partnership today plans to produce a first-of-its-kind, alternate telecast to stream during the Stanley Cup Final dedicated completely to the Deaf community using American Sign Language (ASL). The telecast will be made available to stream on ESPN+ in the U.S. and Sportsnet+ in Canada. NHL in ASL will feature Deaf commentators providing real-time coverage of play-by-play and color commentary in ASL during each game of the 2024 Stanley Cup Final.” (William Douglas-NHL.com-2024)
